Stripped Off...
7th April 2001 - Removed all the rough deck paint from the Wheelhouse roof and stripped all the paint from the roof edge, ready for the new Deck paint.
6th May 2002 - Used Mick Harrisons angle grinder (Cheers Mick) to completely strip all the rough deck paint from the wheelhouse roof. Sanded down, then applied first coat of International Deckpaint. |
More Stripping...
14th April 2001 - Easter Weekend, began stipping the paint off the window frames in readiness for the new paint job...

Lifted Out...
27th April 2002 - Zillertal lifted out, into the boatyard at Preston. Began restoration work on Hull... |
One Hull Of A Job...
6th May 2002 - Dad stripped off majority of paint from Starboard topside. Dawn followed on behind with the heat gun, stripping off the awkward bits of paint (In the screw holes etc).
Mum stripped all the flakey paint from the Wheelhouse, Forward and Aft cabin, revealing some very wet and rotten plywood...Hmmmmmmmmmmm !!! More Work !!!
